I am happy that my battery issues are gone but I am not happy that I had to take my phone in three times and that I was told I was "lucky" for not getting charged for something that was not my fault.īe cautious about giving your phone to this place- the third time I went there, they had a "Help Needed" sign out front stating that they are "willing to train the right people." I got the impression that anyone could walk in with no experience and potentially be "repairing phones" in a short amount of time. Apparently screen replacements are special here in that they void the guarantees the Rotten Apples makes about workmanship. I took my phone in a third time and when I went to pick it up, the person at the front desk told me that during the repair for the blue spot issue, my screen had been replaced and that I was "lucky" for not being charged for the screen replacement. Since both of these components are close to each other, I figured something happened during the "blue spot" fix. Days later, I noticed issues with the ear speaker- I was not able to hear people when I used the phone without a headset! Also, the selfie camera did not work. He offered to look at it and fix it at no charge, so I accepted. The person at the front desk told me that this likely happened due to "improper seating" when the phone was put back together after replacing the battery. ![]() Thinking that this had something to do with the battery replacement, I took my phone back the next day. However, after getting my phone back and taking it home, I noticed a small blue spot on the screen that would not go away. I brought my iPhone 6 in for a battery replacement after reading great reviews on Google.
